Rib King NYC™ is moving to Industry City in Brooklyn this year: the outdoor courtyard and the bandshell, on Saturday, May 27, 2023. More than 15 rib and grilling stations, and El Dorado Slim playing two sets of funk and blues in the bandshell.

Dakota Hams Farm of Kentucky is bringing a 27-month country ham. Alexandra Donnadio is baking barbecue cheesy cornbread focaccia, guest chefs are on grilled cheese and vegetables, and dessert is from MuMsKitchens NYC.
The Sauce King NYC winners will have hot sauces to taste and take home: Coney Island Saucery, Rocket Fuel Foods, 718 Heat Factory, Bayou Gotham, NY Shuk and Marie Sharp’s.
Drinks are at a cash bar this year, run with Hometown BBQ: Gun Hill Publick House, Fort Hamilton Distillery, Upstate Vodka, Daychaser tequila seltzer and wines, Romilly cider and Simply Mocktails, with Smart Water free while it lasts. VIP tickets include two drink tickets.
El Dorado Slim is Little Feat’s Scott Sharrard on guitar and Tony Leone on drums, with Craig Dryer on sax, Fred Walcott on drums, Kyle Kohler on Hammond B3 and Reggie Pittman on trumpet.
Trophies go to the Rib King NYC™ champion, the runner-up and the Friends of Firefighters People’s Choice, with more awards on the day. Kikuichi Cutlery and Anova Culinary are giving the chefs’ prizes.
