Apply to Participate in Rib King NYC
Rib King NYC is a curated event bringing together the best chefs and restaurants in the industry to present their best takes on ribs in a summer kick-off event on May 23, 2026, at Industry City in Brooklyn, New York.
Each year, we select approximately 20 rising-star and award-winning participants to serve their ribs to festival attendees and a panel of expert judges to be evaluated on a number of factors, including flavor, presentation, and creativity. Grand Prize Winners receive the title of Rib King NYC, Rib King NYC trophy, and gifts.
Rib King NYC is known for its outstanding selection and variety of ribs, going beyond traditional smoked BBQ to highlight New York City flavors and global influences. We encourage and celebrate all types of rib preparations.
Selection to participate in Rib King NYC is by invitation only. Limited spots will be filled following application review.
